What is Speed pads?
Speed pads is the use of focus pads for me the coach and you the puncher to improve hand speed, defensive reactions, especially head movement and counterpunching. Speed pads looks really flashy which is a fantastic way to show off the skills you have acquired over four hours of tuition.
Above all it’s FUN.
The sessions will be thirty minutes in duration over an eight week period.
You will have three attempts to record your routine; this will be the same for everyone. We will enter the best time recorded as your entry for the competition.
The routine is identical for all participants as it’s very fast and furious with only seconds or even split seconds difference between posting a good time or a great one. I will break it down and teach it in a step by step approach building your confidence and ability session by session.
My name is Kevin Cowdroy a Personal trainer based in Leigh – on – sea Essex. This has been a passion since my first Boxercise course in 1998. Since then I have taught BOXERCISE classes and personal training to people of all ages.
This has lead to me becoming a master trainer for Boxercise ltd and for the last 5 years training and assessing on our Instructor courses, anyone from fitness instructors, personal trainers, school teachers and Pti’s within the armed forces at various venues in the UK.
